Country Rabbit

This tutorial was created with Paint Shop Pro Version 7.04 but can easily be done in other versions.

Before you begin you will need to download the following supplies.

My Gingham and plaid tiles. Right click on the tile then left click and save to your own computer Open and minimize them in PSP for later use.


     

Remember to save often!

1. Open new image 250X530 transparent.

2. Add new raster layer and name it legs. Go to selections, load from disk and load the selection cmlegs.sel. Flood fill with #D1C0B1. Go to selections, modify, contract 1 and flood fill with white. Deselect

3. Add a new raster layer and name it body. Load selection cmbody.sel. Flood fill with #D1C0B1, contract 1 and flood fill with white. Deselect. Save.

4. Add a new raster and name it arms. Load selection cmarms.sel. Flood fill with #D1C0B1, contract 1 and flood fill with white. Deselect. Save.

5. Add a new raster layer and name it ears. Load the selection cmear1.sel. Flood fill with #D1C0B1, modify, contract 1 and flood fill with white. Deselect. Save.

6. Add a new raster layer and name it inner ears. Load the selection cminnerear.sel. Flood fill with pink #F3B1B7. Modify, contract 1 and flood fill with light pink #F9D9DC. Deselect. Save.

7. Add a new raster layer and name it ear top. Load the selection cmear2.sel. Flood fill with #D1C0B1, modify, contract 1 and flood fill with white. Deselect. Save.

8. Add a new raster layer and name it head. Load the selection cmhead.sel. Flood fill with #D1C0B1, modify, contract 1 and flood fill with white. Deselect. Save.

9. Add a new raster layer and name it eyes. Load the selection cmeyes.sel and flood fill with black. Deselect. Save.

10. Add a new raster layer and name it nose. Load the selection cmnose.sel. Flood fill with #F3B1B7. Modify, contract 1 and flood fill with light pink #F9D9DC. Deselect. Save.

11. Add a new raster layer and name it tongue. Load the selection cmtongue.sel. Flood fill with #F3B1B7. Modify, contract 1 and flood fill with light pink #F9D9DC. Deselect. Save.

12. Add a new layer and name it cheeks. Set the foreground color light pink #F9D9DC, background null. Using your paint brush with the settings place a dot for the first cheek, then go to effects, blur, gaussian blur with a setting of 5.00. Move the cheek into the right position and then copy and paste as a new selection. Move the cheek over to the other side of the face. Deselect. Save.



13. Click on the eyes layer, add a new raster layer and name it details. Load the selection cmdetails.sel. Flood fill with #F3B1B7. Your rabbit is done. Now you can save him with the layers intact and go to the next page to dress him or her :-)
