Fantastic Machines Paint Engine.  Get it here.

Download my Polar Bear canvas and fill pattern here.

Remember to save often!

1.  Open my Polar Bear canvas. Make sure that your layer palette is open.   If you wish to save it with the layers intact for future use hold your shift key down and then press D to duplicate the image.  Open your fill pattern and minimize it on your desktop.

2.  You will notice the layers are all intact and named for you.

3. Set your foreground style to pattern. Select the pattern that I included in the zip with a scale of 100 percent and angle of 0.  Click on the layer front leg 2.  Then go to selections, alpha channel, and load the selection named front leg 2, flood fill  the pattern. Apply Paint Engine with the following settings.    You will be using this setting throughout the tutorial so if you wish you can click on save, and in the box that comes up name this preset bear fur.  That way you will have it if you want to use it again in the future.  Deselect.
