Draw a heart in the center of your canvas.
4. With your selection tool, set to rectangle, feather 0 and antialias checked draw a box around your heart and click on your heart to select it. Defloat your selection, then add a new raster layer. Flood fill the heart with your foreground color. Deselect. 5. Go to image resize and choose resize 85 percent. Make sure resize all layers is not checked. 6. Select effects, geometric wave with the following settings. Horizontal displacement, amplitude 3 & wavelength 25. Vertical displacement amplitude 0 and wavelength 25. Apply. 7. Add a new raster layer. With your foreground color null and the background the red color draw a small heart on top of your large heart. Apply an inner bevel using the following settings. If necessary resize using the deform tool and then use the mover tool to place the small heart at the bottom of the dark red heart.
8. Add a new raster layer. Choose your text tool and type in whatever saying you want on your heart. I put each word on a separate layer so I could move them into position around the heart. 9. Add a new raster layer. With the foreground color null and background the red color you can draw another heart towards the top of the heart to set off your text if you wish. Then apply the same inner bevel you used before. 10. Add a new layer. Your foreground color is now set to a dark gray I used #808080. Select your draw tool with the settings freehand, line width 2 and antialias checked draw your wire hanger. Add a new layer under the wire layer. Then change your foreground color to a darker gray color #404040. Select your paint brush tool and settings round, size 8, hardness, opacity and density all 100, step 25. Draw one dot under the end of the wire so it looks like the wire is going through a hole in the plaque. Then select your wire layer and select your retouch tool with the settings, size 9, hardness 76, opacity and density 100 and step 25. Soften the end of the wire slightly that way it looks more like its threaded through the hold. 11. Activate the bow that was in the zip file and copy it. Paste the bow as a new layer and move it into position. 12. Merge visible and save. Graphics & tutorial © Copyrighted 2003 to infinity Country Meadows, all rights reserved.
