10. Add a new layer and name it ears. Load the selection cmears.
Flood fill it with the dark brown color #6C3820.
Go to selections float and apply the same cutout with the blur as 16. Deselect.



11. Add a new layer and name it inner ears. Load the selection cminner ears.
Flood fill it with the light brown color. #BF8553. Deselect.



12. Add a new layer and name it head. Load the selection cmhead.
Flood fill it with the dark brown. Float. And apply the same cutout using a blur of 33.
Go to noise and add with a setting of 2.Deselect.



13. Add a new layer and name it muzzle. Load the selection cmmuzzle.
Flood fill with the light brown #BF8553.
Apply the same cutout using a blur of 33.
Go to noise and add with a setting of 2.Deselect.



14. Add a new layer and name it nose. Load selection nose.
Flood fill with black #00000.
Apply an inner bevel using the round preset with the default settings.



15. Add a new layer and name it eyes. Foreground null and background white.
Go to your preset shapes, ellipse with anti alias checked draw 2 ovals for the eyes.

 

16. Add a new layer named pupils.
With the foreground null and background black go to the preset shapes ellipse
and draw an oval for the pupil. Copy and paste as new selection and place the
selection over the 2nd eye. That way the pupils are the same size and shape.



17.On the layers palette, click on the muzzle layer and add a new layer
and name it mouth. Change the foreground color to black and the background
color null. Using the draw tool with the settings type: single line.
Width: 1 and anti alias checked draw a straight line down from the nose.
If you hold the shift key down while drawing it will keep your line straight.



18. Add a new layer and with using the draw tool with the settings bezier curve,
line width 1 draw a short horizontal line. Click below the line to get a nice
little curve. Move it into place below the straight line and then copy and
paste as a new selection, image mirror and place it by the other curve to
make a smiley mouth.

19. Add a new layer and name it balls. Load the selection cmballs.
Select the paint brush with settings round, use what ever size you want.
Hardness 100, opacity 100, step 25, and density 100. Paint the balls bright colors
so they look festive. Go to selections float then cutout with these settings.  Vertical and horizontal 1, opacity 100, blur 13, color #808080.   Deselect.

20. Add a new layer and name it hat, Load the selection cmhat
and flood fill it with #0000FF. Leave selected and change the foreground color
to #FFFF00. Select your paintbrush tool with the settings shape round,
size 10, hardness 100, opacity 100, step 25, and density 100. Decorate you hat
with some dots. Float selection and apply the same cutout we used for the balls.



21. Finally, the last step! Add a new layer above the balls layer but under
the hat layer and with the draw tool set at freehand line width 1 and
color black draw a tie around the little bears head with a bow under his
little chin to hold his hat on.

22. Merge visible. All finished!
