Buddy the Bear
I've always loved bears so when The Prestigious Dames came up with the idea
of creating Prestigious Park I thought it was the perfect time to write my
first tutorial, and the first thing I thought of was a bear.
I hope you enjoy him!
This tutorial was created with PSP 7.04
but I'm sure it can
easily be done in other versions.
You will need:

My Bear selections Get them here.
Unzip the selections into your PSP selections file.
Remember to save often!
1. Open a new image 400X500, transparent background.
2. Add a layer and name it stool bottom. Load the selection cmbottom.
The foreground color should be #C00000 and the background color is #5E0000.
Set the foreground style as gradient, using the following settings. Angle
is 90, repeats, 1. Then go to
effects, noise and add with a setting of 2. Deselect.
3. Add a new layer and name it stool top. Load the selection cmtop.
Flood it with the same gradient as the top.
Add a drop shadow with the settings of vertical 2, horizontal 0,
opacity 50, blur 10.3 and color black. Deselect.
4. To decorate the base, load selection cmstars. Set the foreground to #FFFF80 and the background to #FEFFC9,
and flood fill the selection. Deselect.
5. Add a new layer and name it legs. Load the selection cmlegs.
Flood fill it with a dark brown. I used #6C492A.
Go to selections float and apply a cutout with the following settings.
Vertical and horizontal both 2, opacity 100, blur 16, color #AC6C4C. Deselect.
6. Add a new layer and name it arms. Load the selection cmarms.
Flood fill it with the same brown.
Go to selections float and apply the same cutout. Deselect.
7. Add a new layer and name it body. Load the selection cmbody.
Flood fill it with the same brown.
Go to selections float and apply the same cutout only change the blur setting to 33.
Go to noise and add with a setting of 2. Deselect.
8. Add a new layer and name it paws.
Load the selections cmpaws and flood fill with light brown #BF8553. Deselect.
9. Add a new layer and name it tummy. Load the selection cmtummy.
Flood fill with #BF8553. Go to selections float and apply the same cutout that was
used in step 6. Go to noise and add with a setting of 2. Deselect.
