Tomato Soup
1 -28 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 c. chicken broth
1 T. butter
2 T, sugar
1 t. onion
1/8 t. baking soda
2 c. milk or half & half
Mix tomatoes, broth, butter, sugar, onions & soda.. Simmer Heat the milk until warm & then stir into the hot tomato mixture.. The soda keeps the soup from curdling.
