Popcorn Balls

3 qts. Popped corn
1 c. light karo syrup
1 c. sugar
1/2 t. salt
1 tsp. Vanilla

In heavy 2 qt saucepan combine sugar, syrup, and salt. Stirring constantly bring to boil over medium heat. Boil 4 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. Slowly pour over popcorn stirring well. When cool enough to handle, but still quite warm, with greased hands form into 3-inch balls. Makes about 12.
