Pecan Pie

4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
3/4 c. light Karo syrup
1 c. pecan halves
1/8 tsp. salt
9" unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs until frothy; add brown sugar, corn syrup, salt, vanilla, melted butter, and pecan halves. Pour into pie shell. Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees, and bake for about 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
