German Style Green Beans

6 strips of bacon
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 T. flour
1/3 c. vinegar
2/3 c. sugar
2 cans green beans

Chop the bacon & brown until crisp.  Set aside.  Sauté onion in bacon drippings.  Add water, vinegar & flour mixture to onions.  Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens.  Drain green beans & add to above mixture.  Place all ingredients in oven-proof dish & bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
