Chili Verde

1 lg. onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
5-6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
2 t. butter
5 c. water
1 lg tomato chopped
salt to taste
1 T. honey

White Sauce:

1/4 c. butter
flour

Sauté the first three ingredients in two T. butter.  Add water & bring to a boil.  Add tomato, salt and honey.  Simmer.  Melt butter in a saucepan, Add flour until thick.  Bring chili to a boil, add white sauce,  Mix until thick,  Simmer a couple of minutes.
