1 (14 oz.) pkg. Caramels
2/3 c. evaporated milk
¾ c. margarine
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Melt caramels. Add 1/3 c. evaporated milk. To dry cake mix,
add 1/3 c.
evaporated milk, nuts, and margarine. Press ½ dough into greased 9
x 13
inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from the
oven.
Carefully spread caramel mixture over. Add balance cake mixture.
Sprinkle
chocolate chips over the top. Return to the oven and bake 15 to 18
minutes.
