Buns for 50



1 qt. Milked scalded cooled to lukewarm

¾ c. sugar

3 tsp. Salt

3 pkg. Yeast

1 c. warm water

2 tbsp. Sugar

3 eggs, beaten

½ c. melted butter

3 qt. Flour

 

Scald milk. Add sugar, salt, and butter. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast
(dissolved in 1 c. warm water with 2 tbsp. Sugar). Add eggs and flour.
Mix well.  Knead on floured board. Cover. Let rise until double. Punch
down. Let rise again. Make into buns. Let rise and bake.
