Almond Fudge Bars

3/4 c. soft butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. Bisquick
3 c. oatmeal (quick oats)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. chopped almonds

Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs, Bisquick, and oats in a bowl until
crumbly but well blended. Pat 2/3 of the mixture into a greased 13 x
10 x 1 pan. In saucepan, over medium heat, add the sweetened
condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter and vanilla. Cook until
chips are melted. Add 1/2 cup nuts. Smooth chocolate mixture over
cookie base in pan. Drop remaining oat cookie mixture by teaspoon
over chocolate layer. Sprinkle remaining cup of chopped almonds over
top and press nuts into mixture (lightly). Bake at 350 degrees for
30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
