We live in the great state of Montana also known as the Treasure State and The Big Sky Country. Montana is the 4th largest state in the US just behind Alaska, Texas and California. The chief industries are Agriculture, timber, mining, tourism, oil and gas. Our state motto is Oro y Plata which means gold and silver. The state flower is the bitterroot, state bird is the Western meadowlark, state tree the ponderosa pine. Montana entered the union on November 8 1889 and is the 41st state.

Some of the tourist attractions are Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, The Lewis & Clark Caverns, The Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, Museum of the Plains Indian, and the Little Big Horn Battlefield National Monument and Custer National Cemetery.
