Rinkles

My dogs name is Rinkles, and she is a beagle. She was my best friend for 13 great long years, and she would always make me happy. She died of cushings disease, on January 8th, 2006. We called her "Rinkles the railroad dog" because we lived near train tracks and she would love it when the train went by. Last year we got a new dog named molly, she is a cairn terrier, and they both loved each other. Rinkles treated her as if she was her mom, and they were inseparable. We could realize that when Rinkles passed Molly was missing a part of her heart that was very dear to her. Rinkles was born on November 25, 1992. My daughter and her were very close because Julianne was born November 26, 1993, and she knew Rinkles her whole life. I must say Julianne said the most touching thing to Rinkles the night that she died, she said " Rinkles I love you  but you are suffering and that is what hurts me the most, and if you need to you can go and i will still love you and you will always be in my heart and lots of memories i have of you that will never leave my mind ". I believe that Rinkles really understood her. Although that dogs may not understand what you say they do recognize the tone of your voice, and she did what Julianne told her and passed with all her family surrounding her. She died at 9:00 in the morning in the very spot she was first brought home. We will always love her no matter what and we hope that she stays safe in Rainbow bridge, and wait for Julianne or papa to bring her over the bridge because they deserve to never be separated again with their inseparable love for each other.
